Pan-Fried Turtle

This is an extremely simple way to prepare snapping turtle meat inspired by the way turtle meat is enjoyed in the West Indies.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb boneless turtle meat, defrosted
- 3 cloves of fresh garlic, finely minced
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 cups olive oil
- 2 tbs butter
DIRECTIONS

Cut thawed turtle meat into roughly 1-inch cubes.

Mix the garlic, white wine vinegar and olive oil in a sealable container large enough to hold the turtle meat.

Allow the turtle meat to marinate for an hour or more in the fridge.

Remove the turtle from the marinade. Melt the butter in a skillet and fry the turtle meat.

Eat.
