Microgreen Mojito

Makes 1 drink

A lighter, refined, bright citrus/herb mojito that’s easy to drink and very refreshing.

Microgreen Mojito
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 healthy pinches Micro Mint Lavender
  • 2 healthy pinches Micro Basil Licorice
  • 1 tsp Sugar (Superfine Sugar recommended)
  • ½ oz Meyer Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ oz White Rum
  • 2 oz Soda Water
  • Slice of fresh Meyer Lemon
  • Crushed Ice or small, muddle-able ice cubes, plus larger cubes for glass

DIRECTIONS

In a cocktail shaker or heavy glass muddle together the ice, herbs, lemon and sugar.

Add the rum.

Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Finish with the soda water.

Serve garnished with the meyer lemon slice.

  1. I’ve never heard of microherbs though I am very familiar with microgreens. Are they similar to microgreens in what they are (i.e. a baby seedling of the plant) or are they something different. This sounds very refreshing and I like the idea of both the basil & the mint.

    Yes, microherbs are microgreens, just microgreen versions of plants people generally think of as herbs rather than microgreen versions of other plants. Micro basil, micro chives, micro dill, micro mint, micro shiso, etc.

    We use the term in our microgreen category to help separate them from all the other microgreen varieties available, in order to make it (hopefully) easier for people to find what they’re looking for.
