July 1st, 2010 at 11:13 amSo if my recipe calls for 16 pounds fresh mushrooms, I first divide the pounds by 16, yielding 1, then divide by 9, yielding 1/9th of an ounce (approx 1 dried mushroom)?
January 31st, 2012 at 6:50 amDear Hmmmm…
You are quite right to point out that I’ve got the wrong operation to convert from pounds to ounces…it should be multiply, not divide. I’ve fixed the post so it displays the correct instructions.
Thanks for the head’s up!
