We recently selected 10 food bloggers to compete in our Venison Recipe Challenge. We sent each blogger two cuts of Venison (an 8-rib Frenched Rack and a package of Leg Medallions) and asked them to create a delicious venison dish that focused on fall and winter flavors.
Once we sent off the product, we waited in anticipation to see what the bloggers would create with Silver Fern Farms’ fantastic Venison. It’s remarkably tender and has a milder flavor than wild venison, so there are tons of options for pairing and preparation.
Now that the recipes are in, we need your help choosing the winner! Check out the recipes below and let us know which blogger created your favorite venison recipe! The winner of the contest will receive $300 credit to MarxFoods.com!

The poll will be open through Sunday, December 13th, so be sure to get your vote in before the deadline! Please note that each person may only vote once during the voting periods (1 vote per IP address).
For the public vote, the blogger in 1st place will receive 3 points, 2nd place will receive 2 points, and 3rd place will receive 1 point.
In addition to the public vote, we’ll also be asking three of our key team members (Ryan, Matthew, and Kim) to choose their favorite entries. Each staff pick will receive 2 points.
Once the voting is complete, we’ll tally up all the points to choose the winner! The winner will be announced on our blog on Wednesday, December 16th.

Reclaiming yesterday Venison recipe has all the accompanying vegetables that are especially appealing to me visually and tasty, along with the choices for venison preparation and cooking. This is a recipe I will try.
