Still on the fence about whether to order a case of our delicious Nuovo Pasta?  Here are a couple of independent reviews from major online publications that might help you make up your mind:

Ari Bendersky, the wine columnist at The Huffington Post paired and reviewed several varieties of our Nuovo Pasta artisan raviolis with crisp white wines and praised them for having “great flavor and beautiful colors.”

Over at the Contra Costa Times, Jolene Thym of the Oakland Tribune also wrote a review of several of the flavors we offer.  “These ravioli are in an entirely different league than any other store-bought ravioli I have tasted,” she writes, “These are heaven in a bowl.”

Of our specific varieties, she said:

“My personal favorites included the “fruiti di mare girasol gigante” a gigantic ravioli filled with seafood and roasted shiitakes; the lobster and squid ink; and the cremini and portobello.

But you might like the Point Reyes Blue cheese and braised fig. Or the ricotta and Grana Padano.”

So there you have it!  Buying five pounds of pasta may seem like a big step, but remember they’re frozen and will last a long time.  Cooking is as easy as throwing them in boiling water straight from the freezer, and, as Ms. Thym said, “…after you’ve had a taste, you won’t mind having a backup stash.”
