Wanted: Reviewers for Exotic Japanese Citrus Juices

Bloggers wanted to test and review three new citrus juices!

Yuzu, Kabosu, Sudachi.  Rare and wonderful, these exotic citrus fruits have complex, layered flavors.

Delicious in ice cream, seafood dipping sauces, and salad dressings, they’re also cutting edge mixologist favorites and tasty in baked goods.

We’ve done our own taste testing, of course, but their flavors are so complex and challenging to describe that we’re looking for a second (third, fourth, etc) opinion.  We’d like to select several bloggers to send samples of yuzu juice, kabosu juice & sudachi juice to.

Just to make things a little bit more interesting, we’ll be picking one reviewer to reward with extra goodies based on the thoroughness of their candid review.  Photos, recipes, flavor profile articulations, comparisons, criticisms, etc. are all welcome.

The Most Thorough Reviewer Will Get:
A 300g jar of Yuzu Marmalade
A 60g jar of Green Yuzu Kosho or Red Yuzu Kosho (their choice)
A 375ml bottle of White Soy Sauce

If you’d like to play with all three juices and post a review on your blog telling the world your honest opinion of their quality, uses, and flavor, we’d like to hear from you.  Send an e-mail to Justin (at) marxfoods (dot) com with your name, mailing address and blog url.

Please post your review to your blog by April 29th and email me the URL. My staff and I will judge the submitted entries, primarily on the basis of depth/thoroughness. We are particularly interested to see how you articulate the differences in flavor and application of the three juices. Photos, recipes, scientific experiments, etc are all most welcome. Please be completely candid in your opinions and let your readers know that you received these as a free sample.

As an exciting side note –  we’ve also added artisanal tamari soy sauce.
