Cherry-Rosemary Glazed Kurobuta Pork Bacon
Makes 1-4 Servings
Bacon is easily the most popular food on the internet…but what if there was a way to make it even better? Here’s how to glaze it for extra deliciousness.
We’ve used a mixture of jam, rosemary and cider vinegar, but this same technique can be used with almost any syrup or cooked down jam & water mixture…assuming the flavor of the glaze pairs well with the bacon.
INGREDIENTS
- 1lb Kurobuta Pork Bacon
- 2 tbsp Tart Cherries in White Tea Preserve (use the jelly, not the whole cherries)
- 1 tsp minced Fresh Rosemary
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
DIRECTIONS
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2
Lay the bacon strips out on a baking dish.
3
In a small pot combine the preserve, water and rosemary. Bring the mixture to a boil.
4
Brush the bacon strips with a coating of the syrup.
5
Roast the bacon in the oven until crispy, brushing it again half-way through.
6
Remove the bacon from the oven, flip it, and brush the underside with glaze once.
7
Drain the bacon on paper towels, then serve.
