This challenge’s not-so-secret ingredient was Fregola Sarda, Italy’s tasty version of couscous. It’s made from durum semolina and toasted for extra nuttiness. It can go either sweet or savory, so we pushed the sweet boundaries.
We sent the following to all of the bloggers who participated: Fregola Sarda, Vanilla Beans, Star Anise, and Saffron Threads. Each blogger had to use the Fregola and at least one of the other samples in an original dessert recipe.
