Sadly, they didn’t report on the culinary merits of the ghost chili…but rather its potential as a weapon of war.
Yes, the Indians have been experimenting with ghost chili grenades for well over a year … and it is sometimes used as elephant repellent in India. Ghost chili powder is powerful stuff. But, why dwell on the heat levels alone? Ghost chilis are phenomenally flavorful so long as you use only a little bit.
