Szechuan Buttons (aka Sechuan Buttons) are the cocktail mixer of the future, taking the common cocktail to a whole new sensory level. Long before you get a buzz from the alcohol, you’ll start to feel a strong, but not unpleasant tingling on your tongue and lips (like licking a 9 volt battery). Cutting edge bartenders are using szechuan buttons for all sorts of new drinks, often with names evoking their “electric” feel.
