This is the end of a very long road for our ten ridiculously delicious challengers. Ridiculously Delicious 2011 is a challenge open to anyone who won or hosted a Marx Foods challenge in the fourth quarter of 2010 (We intend to do this again next year, but instead to include anyone who won or hosted a challenge in the entirety of 2011).
So far, these folks have competed in an essay challenge, a mystery recipe challenge with exotic pantry ingredients, and a recipe makeover challenge. Read a complete synopsis here.
Now it’s time to judge their final challenge. We shipped each of the below ten bloggers a couple fresh wasabi roots and asked them to create a ridiculously delicious wasabi recipe. All of the Ridiculously Delicious Recipe challengers from Round 2 as well as the Marx Foods staff will vote for the winner, who will receive three cases of our products. Though voting isn’t open to the public, feel free to leave comments below to sway us one way or the other. We will announce the winner by April 5th.
Click on the ten images below to check out each challenger’s ridiculously delicious fresh wasabi recipe:
How it all ends:
The ultimate winner will be decided by a vote. Five members of the Marx Foods staff will each select their five favorites, and each of the 21 Stage Two competitors is going to select their two favorites (selections must be in by April 3 to be counted).
Whoever gets the most selections will be declared the victor on April 5th. They get a case each of the three products they picked in their stage one essay and some pretty serious bragging rights.
Good luck to the final ten ridiculously delicious bloggers!

Wow, I’m surprised at how many sweet recipes there are, but they all look amazing!
Wow! Kudos to Eats Well With Others for coming up with that combo. Although the ice cream is melting, Leslie Uhl’s recipe intrigues me visually. Makes me want to try a French Toast version. Good luck to everyone!!
What really cracks me up is the dancing bird in the logo shot! Doing a little “happy dance” since none of the recipes involve poultry?? 🙂
Everything looks so mouthwatering! Good luck to everyone! 🙂
It’s always fun to see how you can give people the same ingredient and it can go in so many different directions!
Love the combination of chocolate and Wasabi with the creaminess of the cheesecake.. I can just imagine the spike of heat from the wasabi mellowed by the smoothness of the cheesecake. Love Brian’s take with the Chocolate-Wasabi Cheesecake!!!
Wow, great recipes! The Asiam Sundae with White Chocolate Wasabi Truffles definitely calls out to me….my taste buds are “watering” to try that combo 🙂
Good Luck everyone!
Wow…everyone did a great job coming up with some really original recipes. That Asian sundae with the wasabi chocolate truffle looks amazing! Can’t wait to try it.
I vote for the homemade ginger pasta with sweet potato wasabi sauce! <3
