Moroccan Tuna Sandwich
(Thon Bel Hrour)

Makes 2-4 Servings

Simple, humble in appearance yet glorious in flavor…this is the quintessential Moroccan sandwich. Imagine a much more flavorful tuna fish sandwich – bright, creamy, with a nice warming heat that’s not too spicy. Now imagine that it’s only a tiny bit more work, yet better for you than one made with mayo!

Moroccan Tuna Sandwich (Thon Bel Hrour)
INGREDIENTS
  • 3 tbsp Harissa
  • 15oz Canned Tuna, not drained
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley, minced
  • ½ Red Onion, diced
  • 4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1 Thin Baguette
  • Optional:
  • Capers or Black Olives to Taste

DIRECTIONS

Mix together the tuna (with the liquid from the cans), harissa, parsley, red onion, olive oil & tomato.

Cut the baguette into two halves.

Fill the sandwich with the tuna mixture & serve.
