Stuffed mini sweet peppers

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 0.33 lb white rice
  • 20 pieces of mini sweet peppers capped
  • 3 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 1.5-2 tsp sugar ( sweetener or honey instead according to taste)



Mix the uncooked rice, the ground pork with salt and pepper in a bowl and stuff the mini sweet peppers with the mixture.

Add 1.5 quarts of water in a pot and add the tomato paste, ketchup, then stuffed peppers. Add a little salt and pepper. Cook 45 minutes on medium heat.

Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a pan and add one coffee spoon of flour (gf also works) and brown it well (avoid burning) on medium heat and add 3.5 oz cold water.

Place the pot with the peppers off the heat and add the content (thickener) of the pan into it. After adding thickener place the pot back on the stove and boil the dish before finish.
