Spiced Plum Cocktail
Makes 1 Drink
Complex and elegant – this cocktail is a real conversation-starter. Buckwheat honey has a molasses-y flavor that really pairs nicely with the musky plum, woody bourbon and smoked salt.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2oz Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- 2 tsp Spiced Plum Jam (could substitute plain plum jam)
- 1 tsp Buckwheat Honey
- 1/2oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- Smoked Salt
- 1 Dried Plum
DIRECTIONS

Combine the bourbon, jam, honey and lemon juice in a shaker with ice.

Shake to combine.

Wet the rim of a martini glass with lemon juice and rim it with the smoked salt.

Cut a slit into the dried plum.

Double-strain the drink into the glass.

Attach the plum to the glass by inserting the glass edge into the slit. Serve.
