Shagbark Mai Tai
Makes 1 drink
In this drink the “oaked” flavor of shagbark syrup and the sweet muskiness of dark rum combine to evoke bourbon without the bite. This is a fruity cocktail where you don’t really taste the alcohol.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz Meyers Dark Rum
- 1/2 oz Shagbark Syrup
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- Garnish:
- Orange slice wedge
DIRECTIONS

Combine the shagbark syrup, orange juice, lime juice & Meyers rum together in a shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously to chill & combine.

Strain into a cocktail or martini glass and garnish with the orange wedge.
