Plating for Earth Day

Our office is atwitter with Earth Day quickly approaching. As the most “green” place I’ve ever worked, I’m proud to be surrounded by people who care about the environment every day, not just on Earth Day.

Justin has set the standards high. Last year, he not only hosted a rockin’ Earth Day Party but he also does a lot with in our office including using only 100% recycled paper, and then recycling it again by printing on the back, uses green cleaning products and subsidizing green power.

Professionally as far as Earth Day is concerned, I’m doing my best to enlighten the world about our cool Elegant Disposable Biodegradeable Plates. Made from naturally fallen palm leaves, these plates are bio-degradable, so Mother Nature would much rather have you use them vs. paper or plastic plates. And almost as great as being earth-friendly:

  • they’re impressively stylish (all sorts of shapes and sizes, I personally dig the square plates)
  • they’re sturdier than paper plates (work fine for hot, cold or liquid food),
  • and after your friends go home, instead of having a kitchen full of dirty dishes, you can compost or trash these suckers.

They’ve become my go-to gift for friends who often host dinner parties or BBQ’s.

We’d love to hear what you’re doing for Earth Day (and beyond), please post your plans.

  2. Its really a nice spirit to celebrate Earth day with Bio-degradable plates.
I’m also doing my best by propagating the spirit of Earth day through ecards.

Happy Earth Day! Lets celebrate the beauty and wonder of our planet.
