To say that I woke up in a cold sweat every night since the polls opened for my Recipe Impossible: WINTER SQUASH challenge.  Is an understatement.

Night after night I would rise from my bed, unable to shut my eyes for one second more.  Obsessed and compulsed, I watched the votes trickle in.  Knowing that the fate of my skin was in your hands.

And choose.  You have.

But.  (And there’s always a “but”.)

Because I’m indecisive.  Because I need variety in my life.  Because I’m a food blogger and so the thought of making any dish more than once scares me.  I have decided to have not one.  But three winners.

One was chosen by you – the readers.  The second, by the other participants.  And the third – by yours truly.  Yes, I was so inspired by all of your decision-making abilities that I was driven to finally suck it up.  My ex-boyfriends would be proud.  I hope you are too.
