More Palatable Reishi Tea Recipes

 

Dried reishi mushrooms are believed to have really impressive and extensive health properties, including anti-viral, anti-microbial, immune boosting, blood pressure lowering, and a laundry list of other properties.  But, they also live up to the old stereotype of ultra-healthy food tasting bad.  You know the stereotype that food artisans debunked over the last decade that said the better it is for you, the worse it tastes.  Well, the stereotype was actually right when it comes to reishi.  Let’s just say that reishi tea is supposedly really, really, really good for you.

Below are some great alternatives to the basic reishi tea recipe that bloggers have come up with.  Each of them adds additional ingredients and flavors in order to make reishi much tastier without infringing upon its believed health benefits.  All of them are excellent, but the reishi pomegranate tea recipe is our favorite.

    Thanks! I love the effects of Reishi tea, but the flavor was really hard to take for me. The Peppermint tea sounds like it could mask the flavor and maybe the honey in it too. Thanks again!

    Yeah, the Reishi Tea is really good for you (tastes like boiled tennis shoes) but the health benefits are undeniable!
