Fire on Ice Recipe Contest: Pick Your Fave!

We asked bloggers to create original recipes for cold dishes that brought the heat (in the spice department). Who doesn’t like a little spice with their ice?

Armed with a battery of different dried chiles, some bloggers made luxurious ice cream dishes, some shook up cocktails, a few took the savory route and some delightfully portable popsicles made appearances as well.

There are 19 entries, but only one can win this poll. Help us crown one of the champs in this contest and pick your favorite recipe below.

Which recipe do you think best brings fire + ice together?

Total Voters: 393

The poll will end Thursday at midnight PST, so make sure you vote before the deadline! One winner will be chosen from this public poll, and the second winner will be chosen via an internal vote amongst the participating bloggers and Marx Foods staff.

Both winners will get their choice of any of the following as their prize: 2lbs of Frozen Huckleberries, a case of Passion Fruit, a Japanese Juice Sampler, an Ultimate Chile Head Sampler, or 5lbs of Fresh Horseradish.

Winners will be announced Friday, 8/3…stay tuned!

    Hello!

A wonderful Innovative recipe and creatively presented dish.

The mix of potato and squash is truly inspired.

The potato will act as a cooling agent in your mouth for the heat of the chile, still allowing for some

heat and wonderful flavour of the pepper to come through.

    Congratulations!

    Have a Joyful Day :~D
