Now Hiring for a Holiday Position in our Seattle Office

I have never advertised a job on the blog before!  Why not give the blogosphere first dibs?  Plus, if I do craigslist I am going to have 150 resumes in 3 hours.
 
Hopefully you or one of your friends wants to come work for us in December.  The job is entry-level and temporary (for now), but we are growing fast … this could be a good opportunity for us to get to know someone … you never know what we will need next year or what jobs we can create.
 
Basically, we need help answering phones, tracking packages, packing packages and samples, and a host of other office/clerical/support work.  Normally I hire for potential, but in this case I would prefer someone who is overqualified so that we can do as little training as possible, given the fact that the holidays are upon us and time is extremely short.
 
So… we need someone who is smart, competent and personable … who has solid PC/web/MS Office skills … and who is ready to work hard.  It would be a major plus if that person knew their way around the kitchen. 
 
Aside from the work, we also try to have fun … Fridays are often finished over champagne … and whoever we hire will also be invited to our holiday party in January which is always epic-ly delicious.
 
We need 20-40 hours a week of help.  We are offering $12/hour on a 1099 cash basis.  If you are interested, email justin at marxfoods dot com a resume and a thoughtful cover letter/email.
