Each of the below bloggers was given an extremely difficult challenge: take samples of our Hawaiian Red Salt, Hawaiian Pink Salt, Ginger Salt, Espresso Salt & Flor de Sal and produce two stunning photographs. One photograph featuring only the salt, the second displaying the salt used as part of a finished dish.
From this group two winners were selected: one by Ryan, our own food photographer, and one by readers of the Marx Foods blog. Both winners received an Edible Microflower Blend with which to further hone their food photography and presentation skills. In the end Joanne of Eats Well With Others won the popular vote and the Ravenous Couple got Ryan’s stamp of approval.

My congratulations to both the winners! Ravenous Couple got my vote for best photos, as well, their lighting is just gorgeous! And love their creativity!
