UPDATE: We’ve had a surprise development in the internal vote to select the final bloggers moving on to Round 3 of the Integrale Gauntlet…after tallying the votes from the bloggers and including our own staff votes, we found we had a tie for the 5th slot. That means that SIX bloggers will be advancing to the final round! Congratulations to our final six: Food for Thought, Girl in the Little Red Kitchen, The DelGrosso Food Blog, Great Outdoors Cooking, Cookistry and Oh Cake!

As promised, the six bloggers will get a pantry goodie from us. Because we were all so impressed with their dessert risotto recipes, we’re sending them each a pack of vanilla beans. Congratulations again to our final group of bloggers and thank you everyone for participating!

Get ready to swoon over the recipes for Round 2 of our Integrale Gauntlet! These sweet treats will leave you yearning for more, but only 5 of the bloggers will make the final cut.

A quick recap of the gauntlet thus far: in the first round, we challenged 14 bloggers to create original recipes for savory risotto using our Integrale rice (you can see those recipes here), but only the top 10 bloggers made it through. These tenacious bloggers were really put to this test in the second round to create original recipes for “dessert risotto.”  The bloggers wowed us with their sweet skills.
