Blackberry Balsamic Bellini

If you’re looking for a celebratory drink with an unusual twist, you’ll love this balsamic bellini with fresh blackberries. The color is a lovely deep purple, and the distinctive tang & bite from the vinegar is balanced by the sweetness of the berries.

Note: the type of sparkling wine you choose to use will change the end taste considerably. For a sweeter result, use a sweet sparkling wine like Moscato Dolce or Prosecco. To tone down the sweetness, use a Brut or an Extra Brut sparkling wine or Champagne.

Ingredients:   Makes 1 Drink
1/2 oz Vigna Oro Balsamic Vinegar
4-5 Fresh Blackberries
Champagne/Prosecco/Moscato Dolce

Directions:
1. Pour balsamic vinegar into a mixing glass and add fresh blackberries.

2. Muddle thoroughly and let the berries macerate for a minute or two.

3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a champagne flute.

4. Top with the sparkling wine of your choice.
